Be Sound In Charity

In this study we go over what charity is according to scripture. Being sound in charity isn't just about what you give or don't give. It is more about your hearts intent as well as the purpose behind what you are doing. In other words, are you actions according to the will and purpose of God? Or are your actions according to what you think is right or wrong?
Consider when Peter tried to rebuke Jesus, was he going according to his own will and what he thought was right?
- Matthew 16:22-23 KJV Then Peter took him, and began to rebuke him, saying, Be it far from thee, Lord: this shall not be unto thee. (23) But he turned, and said unto Peter, Get thee behind me, Satan: thou art an offence unto me: for thou savourest not the things that be of God, but those that be of men.
