Ice Garden

The ice has frozen all the plants in bizarre poses. Two large Skalniks fell to the ground. Yesterday these two plants were still standing, but at an angle. I hope the rest of the plants don't fall. It was a little warmer. The ice began to melt. But tomorrow it should be frosty again. Today the lights were turned off. There was no electricity for 6 hours. My work schedule is disrupted.

Authorities said the average thickness of ice on the wires is 1.5 inches. Many electrical wires weigh so low that people can touch the wires with their heads. But the roads have gotten better. Major highways have been cleared of ice. There is clean asphalt there. All people will wait for the weather to improve. The ice storm is now in its third day.
