During combat work, crews of the 82-mm automatic mortar Vasilyok destroyed a group of Ukrainian servicemen during a rotation at combat positions in Serebryansky forestry. Interacting with forward artillery gunners and unmanned aerial vehicle operators, the mortarmen inflicted rapid fire fire of 4 mines on Ukrainian militants who were trying to change their firing positions.

The Vasilyok mortar can fire up to 120 mines per minute and fire along a flat trajectory. And even when conducting automatic fire, it has high shooting accuracy. One such mortar is capable of destroying the enemy in a terrain area of ​​up to 600 metres. With automatic fire, the artillerymen daily cover the actions of motorised rifle and tank units, firing at the exposed firing positions of the Ukrainian militants.
