Every Christmas They Preach It, But Why Was Joseph the Husband? Divorce & Remarriage Taught By GOD

At seminaries/cemeteries these "learned" professors teach the same old lies that have existed since Erasmus a Catholic monk in the 1500's. Martin Luther said that you could divorce and wait for two to ten years and then remarry. So what does the Bible say? Most every video you will find on YouTube gives you various reasons for divorce and remarriage, but if you really examine the Scriptures, there is only divorce for betrothal fornication for the JEWISH marriage (ie. Joseph was going to divorce Mary for betrothal fornication until the angel told him that Mary was still a virgin and the Holy Spirit had conceived Jesus in her womb). Matthew 1:18 Now the birth of Jesus Christ was as follows: After His mother Mary was betrothed to Joseph, before they came together, she was found with child of the Holy Spirit. 19 Then Joseph her husband, being [a]a just man, and not wanting to make her a public example, was minded to put her away/divorce secretly. 20 But while he thought about these things, behold, an angel of the Lord appeared to him in a dream, saying, “Joseph, son of David, do not be afraid to take to you Mary your wife, for that which is [b]conceived in her is of the Holy Spirit. 21 And she will bring forth a Son, and you shall call His name [c]Jesus, for He will save His people from their sins.”

22 So all this was done that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the Lord through the prophet, saying: 23 “Behold, the virgin shall be with child, and bear a Son, and they shall call His name Immanuel,” which is translated, “God with us.”

24 Then Joseph, being aroused from sleep, did as the angel of the Lord commanded him and took to him his wife, 25 and [d]did not know her till she had brought forth her[e] firstborn Son. And he called His name Jesus.

I found this woman's comment on a video done by a seminarian, and she knows the same verses as I do and most of my regular viewers know. This is hugely important because God is going to surely judge the fornicator and the adulterer, so we need to warn people about what adultery is- namely, it is not just cheating on your spouse, or lusting and using porn, it is divorce and remarriage while the covenant spouse (1st marriage for both people) is still alive. So please get out your Bible, ask the Holy Spirit to open your mind and humble your heart, and listen to God's Word.
