This is the start of our trek through Kingdom Hearts II Final Mix! Man, when they say this was a super-long intro, they ain't kidding. And in this very special episode, we play through the entirety of the game's intro in one stream! Over 3 hours!

I know I broke a rule of mine. "Nothing over 90 minutes. I have to respect your time." I felt like this was one exception I could make. The intro to Kingdom Hearts II is notorious and a little slow since most people didn't get the exposition in Chain of Memories... but we did get that exposition!

It felt longer because you know you aren't supposed to play through the game as Roxas and the story got a little confusing if you didn't play Chain of Memories (remake or not). I've played through Kingdom Hearts II before, but never right after Chain of Memories. Knowing what I know now, it hits way different. I highly recommend the 1.5 + 2.5 HD ReMIX now. It is a great value with 4 games and 2 "movies" but the deeper I dive into the series, it really does make you identify with certain story elements. (First moment was that Riku/Replica fight in the late game of Re: Chain of Memories, oh man)
