The Unsolved Murder of Dot King

The lights of the Great White Way burned bright in the 1920s, and they drew huge flocks of colorful, delicate, beautiful creatures. “Broadway butterflies,” they were called, and they came, yearning for fame, fortune, and romance.
Dorothy King was one such butterfly in 1923, and in her lifetime she had all of what modernity deems worthy– money, glamour, jewels, a sugar daddy and a hot-blooded lover. She had everything, except the fame. That would come later, after she was found dead in her bed, chloroformed, at the age of 26.
