Crews of 122-mm D-30 howitzers destroyed enemy strong point

In the Artyomovsk direction in the Andreevka area, during search operations, reconnaissance units of a separate guards air assault formation discovered a platoon stronghold with Ukrainian militants holed up in it, as well as an enemy mortar that was firing harassing fire at Russian positions. The coordinates of the enemy positions were immediately transmitted to the artillery control point for their destruction.

With accurate fire from closed firing positions, artillery crews of 122-mm D-30 howitzers destroyed the Ukrainian infantry dug in in their positions and suppressed the mortar firing point. From receiving the target to firing the shot, the military personnel spent no more than 2 minutes, after which the reconnaissance group of paratroopers adjusted the fire to inflict maximum fire damage on the enemy.

During the joint combat work, the reconnaissance and artillerymen were destroyed down to the separation of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the mortar crew at the firing position was suppressed.
