Action Radio: Our Bill to End "Birth-Fraud" Citizenship! Part 2.

We were going to compare and contrast the bill currently submitted by Rep. Brian Babin on ending the illegal practice of birthright citizenship. But in the third hour Friday we had a surprise visit from Barry Shaw who did an amazing report live from Israel. So of course we took that.

Monday in the first hour I shall cover our bill. I was able to cover Rep. Babin's bill quite well at the start of the first hour, and again at the start of the third hour, before Barry joined us.

The big difference between Babin's bill and our bill, is that our bill doesn't provide automatic citizenship to children of foreign nationals serving in our military. That violates the equal protection clause of the 14th Amendment by giving a special privilege and benefit not available to everyone applying for citizenship and permanent resident status the regular way.

The big difference though is that Rep. Babin's bill provides no ability or method by which to correct the millions of illegally and mistakenly awarded "birthright citizenship" to people who could not be granted it because of the "subject to the jurisdiction" clause of the 14th Amendment, because their parents were subject to the jurisdiction of their country of citizenship, and so automatically are their children, so they never could have been US citizens unless naturalized the legal way.
