Changing Definitions to Fit The Financial Need Of The FDA - The DEFINITION of HEMP

Hemp used to be overall more than anything a colloquial word that referred to the dream of a marketplace of industrial hemp products. This was always honestly the stoners idea.of industrialized cannabis, at least for myself. Colloquially hemp was simply hemp pants, hemp paper, it was the poor quality cannabis not grown for intention to use for recreational or medicinal purposes of consumption.
But why exactly did the FDA manipulate legislation to change the definition of HEMP in 2014?
What made them decide to do this, allowing peer reviewed researchers to gain more sway over research and the eventual production of CBD synthetic and semisynthetic THC derivations synthesized from the High CBD in CbD cannabis. That certainly isn't in their pros checklist as the government institution in charge of selling drugs in the US.
States are legalizing and getting the attention rightfully so as you hear me speak on but let's not forget the Federal Governments role. And not forget the DEA has the ability at any time to play GTA like they did in California through 2012.
