WONKA Box Office | GOOD Start for Christmas Movie Release

It looks like Wonka could be a hit that theaters desperately need. Recently theaters owners have been worried that this holiday season there was nothing come out that would drive audiences.

The musical fantasy starring Timothee Chalamet had a solid opening weekend, not only domestically, but globally as well. I was able to bring in over $151 million globally during its opening on a $125 million budget. If it has a decent hold it should be profitable after next weekend. This is a needed boost for theater chains that had to content with slow box office results throughout the fall season.
