Reading the Bible in 1 Year - Leviticus Chapter 5 and 6

These Chapters in Leviticus are all about atonement for sin. The offerings and sacrifices to God under the Old Testament are brutal but thousands of years ago people lived in brutal times. This year, we’re reading the Bible to learn about God’s love, patience, and forgiveness to help us be better humans who can also forgive and love others, which is the only way to live fulfilled lives. Today we are reading Leviticus Chapters 5 and 6 of the Old Testament. This tells us about the Children of Israel and how they turned away from God and had to make sacrifices to pay for their sins to rebuild their relationship with God in the Promised Land. Join us as we read through the Bible this year and discuss what we get out of each of the chapters.
We are hoping to share more about God and how there’s always hope for forgiveness and fresh starts.
We hope you’ll join us on our journey through Leviticus and learn about the Children of Israel (Children of Jacob) and their history.
