A Painful Journey | 9 | Ocean Bits

Sadly, many countries dump waste from various factories into the ocean. This creates a toxic environment where, if comics are to be believed, odd mutant creatures are born. That is the setting for this track, and I tried to capture the feel of mystery and disgust an area like that must bring.

This album was made for a video game project someone was working on. They decided to drop the project, and so I'm releasing it on my own. The game was about an 8-bit shark traveling throughout the different oceans, and so each song represents a different level players would have to beat. I didn't want the music to all have that "under water level" stereotype, so I had to get creative with it. Each song is as unique as each body of water and the surrounding ecosystem.
