12/19/23 card: dreams

I have vivid dreams and often think about the details in them for days afterwards. I believe dreams are the way our brains catalog the day’s activities, but I often pick up on common themes in my dreams. The main theme I tend to dream about is anxiety. Sometimes it manifests in a scene where I’m supposed to be taking a test I haven’t studied for. Sometimes I’m trying to get to an appointment and am encountering a variety of obstacles along the way. I will often journal about these recurring themes, hoping to clear my mind.
