1992 - The Year Thrash Went Mainstream

After Metallica released their infamous black album record labels decided they had a formula and started signing underground thrash bands and producing mainstream albums with them. I misspoke on Anthrax "The Sound of White Noise" though... that record came out in 1993 even though it was recorded in 1992.
