The Portland teachers union went on strike for the last month and just ended their strike on Monday this week -- but they've now kept the kids out of in-person instruction for another several weeks, continuing to contribute to learning loss.

It's no wonder so many Oregon teachers are fed up with the unions! LEGAL UPDATE- The Alaska case is pretty amazing -- the Attorney General and Governor of Alaska essentially reinforced the simple language of the Janus ruling to make sure the state and local governments have verified/confirmed that government employees want to have union dues deducted from their paychecks before the dues payments are taking out.
