Our possessions have tremendous power. They have the power to master us, but if we master them, they have the power to bless others in God’s kingdom. We don’t have to be poor for the desire for wealth to trap us into being diverted from seeking God’s kingdom first. It can be a trap for the rich also.

All of us have to avoid the trap of allowing our possessions to enslave us. It is the love of money that makes slaves of us. But if we master our possessions and rightly use them, they can become powerful instruments in our hands to advance the kingdom of Light and to bring glory to God.
