The Boston Martyrs and our Right to Free Speech

Our Right to Free Speech didn't come cheap. It cost William Robinson, William Ledre, Mary Dyer, and Marmaduke Stephenson—the Quaker Martyrs—their lives.

We must not let their deaths go unrecognized. They set in motion the events that led to the Articles for the Governing of the Colony of West Jersey and the Jersey Concessions, the Frames of Pennsylvania, which together were the precursors to the United States Constitution's Bill of Rights.
