The answer seems to be obviously yes, but it's somehow inadequate or a crude oversimplification. This matters because that crude oversimplification, like most blunt instruments, is both popular and hard to avoid picking up in a fight. The real answer is more no than yes, and getting it straight makes a big difference in how we engage it.
