Did The Fortnite Winterfest Update Fix Movement?

Today I played the Winterfest 2023 update to Fortnite Chapter 5, aka Fortnite Underground. At the beginning of the Chapter Epic Games made a huge overhaul of the movement systems and the change has been VERY divisive within the community. Today's update is meant to be a patch to the new movement mechanics, and will be the last patch Fortnite updat4e of the year until Epic Games returns from Christmas Vacation!
