The Gospel of Jesus the Christ - It is Finished! Jesus the Lamb of God

As the preparation day of the sabbath came to an end, the Jewish Leadership petition Pilate to have the Lamb of God, which God provided Himself, removed from the cross, so not to remain on the sabbath. When the soldiers found that Jesus was already dead, they did not break his legs, as Pilate ordered, but pierced his side fulling prophecy and ensuring the rules regarding the Passover Lamb where not violated.
