Why would you trust the government with your life?

Affordable care act. Obamacare. Medicare. Medicaid. A single government payer for healthcare. Backed by a government whose largest expense is old people with medical problems. It is in their best interest for people to die directly after retirement. And you’re counting on them for your healthcare and your Social Security.
