The Cost of Discipleship Then and Now

God's servants in the Scriptures often suffered persecution and opposition. They faced social rejection including hatred, lies, and alienation. They sacrificed possesions and property. They were required to accomplish difficult work and often faced imprisonment and death. Are we willing to count the cost and pay the price?
