Michigan Man Arrested For Attacking His Parents

Police arrested a 51-year-old man accused of assaulting his elderly parents with a cooking pan in Midland on Christmas Day.

The attack left a 77-year-old woman and 80-year-old man hospitalized in critical condition.

Investigators say the suspect hit both of his parents on the head with the metal pan. Both victims were rushed to MyMichigan Medical Center in Midland for treatment of life-threatening injuries.

Midland police arrested the 51-year-old suspect at the scene without incident. Reasons for the assault were not released.
