So here we finally are. After naming our Top 10 doom, hardcore punk, hard'n'heavy and extreme metal albums of 2023 over the last four weeks, we finally come down to the big enchillada ... the best albums of 2023 regardless of genre.

Leading the charge this year to these ears were the hardcore punk and hard'n'heavy categories with doom and extreme metal having relatively off years in my opinion. Regardless, you'll find representation of all four of the categories we cover here at The Mighty Decibel in our Top 10 of 2023.
