Law of God

When engaging with the Pharisees and Sadducees, a people who proudly proclaimed themselves as 'God's chosen,' Jesus exposed the human inclination to prioritize 'reasoning' and 'tradition' over God's expansive Law of love. Despite the lessons provided by Jesus and the apostolic church, encompassing both Jews and Gentiles who observed God’s meaningful Sabbaths, today's Christians continue the tradition of observing pagan-based holidays like Christmas, New Year's, Easter, and Sunday services. It seems that the lesson of placing our traditions above God's law has yet to be fully grasped.
