Living in populated areas does have its perks. You have your parks, markets, malls and every kind of service you can think of. You may think you are basically covered all around, but still, unexpected events are bound to happen sooner or later, proving that humankind cannot just separate from the natural world it belongs to and inhabits. Sometimes it is the trash panda that has made a mess in your front yard, other times it is the local squirrel that has made a food storage unit out of your car’s air filter. These small nuisances can be a real pain in the rear end, but people manage to wrangle them eventually and continue on with their lives.
When it comes to living in populated areas in the tropical countries, things are much more complicated. They have nuisances we can’t even begin to imagine; animals like snakes and giant spiders are a regular sight and more often than not, these critters find their way in people’s homes and yes, even in their vehicles, the tropics are an ideal habitat for them. All of you, probably, in childhood read Kipling's fairy tale about the insidious cobra and brave mongoose, and more than once have heard about various snake shows in India or Thailand. Of course, this is no surprise, because there are a lot of snakes in those parts. And not just in the populated areas. These regions are teeming with lizards of all kinds, as this clip is about to prove.

People all around Thailand are familiar with all sorts of dangers in their country that has an incredibly high road toll. But this motorcyclist surely could not have been expecting a wildlife encounter such as this one while he enjoyed a scenic ride through the mountains.

A curious footage has emerged of a long serpent sparking panic after slithering into the middle of the road obstructing the path for an oncoming motorcyclist. Watch the tense moment when the unsuspecting motorcyclist has a close encounter with a hostile snake, avoiding the snake-attack while managing to keep balance on the bike. The brave man continued his ride as if nothing had happened. Talk about bravery and nonchalant behavior!

In this clip, filmed on April 16, 2017 in Lampang, Thailand, a wild snake crossing the road almost bit a motorcyclist. Watch as two motorcyclists are casually strolling down the empty road, enjoying in the picturesque landscape when a wild snake appears out of nowhere and goes full kung-fu on the motorcyclist driving up front!

The ignorant man was peacefully driving his bike down the road when he happened to cross paths with a long snake crossing the road in front of him. The moment the snake saw the oncoming motorcyclist it decided to go attack mode by curiously jumping on him out of nowhere! Creepy, right?

Fortunately, the man didn’t lose his cool and was quick to act, so he managed to avoid the serpent attack while balancing his weight on the bike quite well. Interestingly, he continued riding down the road as if nothing has happened! How crazy is that?
