Heading into the National Semi-Final game on New Years Day, Michigan coach Jim Harbaugh acknowledged rumors linked to the software that powers tablets used by college football programs to watch film, may have been compromised.
Catapult Sports, the performance analytics company behind the software, has acknowledged an ongoing NCAA investigation into the rumors.
A Michigan spokesman said on Saturday that the program believes it was targeted in the potential breach.
Both Michigan and their opponent Alabama, have instructed their teams to stop using individual tablets to look at post-practice film.
