I'm not worried about our currecy exchange. Our dollar is still backed by Oil and Gas. No other economic group would do any better than the USA even if we were no longer the World Reserve Currency. The British Pound Sterling did not collapse the British economy when they lost their empire after WW1.

The economic turmoil generated by the Houthi Rebels actually will help the USA economy while simultaneously negatively impacting China's.

The reason our warships are in the Red Sea defending the cargo ships is due to Maersk and other shipping conglomerates paying for USA protection to get beyond the Strait of Hormuz.
