How to Keep Christmas Going all Year

James tells us to draw near to God, our responsibility is to seek God, it is an action step on our part. We resist the enemy and we draw near to God. This is a conscience effort on your part to diligently seek God. The warmth and time that we have a Christmas shouldn’t fade when we put all the decorations together, we should seek Him like this all year long. James had just got done explaining about conflict and quarrels among the believers, and he said that these conflicts from our own sinful heart and James warns us that if we pursue our own wants and desires, we become an enemy of God. He tells us not to focus on our own ambitions and selfish desires, we must cognitively decided to draw near to God and put off our selfish heart. If we walk in pride, then we are not pleasing to God.
