US Secretary of State Antony Blinken approves sale of high explosive artillery shells to Israel

US Secretary of State Antony Blinken has bypassed congress and approved the sale of high explosive artillery shells and related equipment to Israel. Blinken pushed through the 147-million dollar deal by declaring it an emergency. He made a similar decision on December 9, approving a 106-million dollar sale of tank ammunition for Israel.
