Today's episode talked about my bitcoin strategy in 2024 including some very important items on the checklist for both new and advanced bitcoiners!

For new bitcoiners
overview: buy a little, educate yourself (bitcoin mining specifically, buy a little more, get through one cycle.

checklist: take self-custody (exodus or phoenix), review your security setup every month, sell old stuff around your house and buy bitcoin with proceeds, swap your alt coins for bitcoin, focus on obtaining non-kyc bitcoin.

For advanced bitcoiners:
overview: pretend you lost all your bitcoin. Start stacking aggressively.

checklist: obtain non-kyc bitcoin (hodl hodl, robosats, bisq or bull bitcoin in Canada), coldcard and sparrow wallets only, consolidate your UTXOs when fees are low, start accepting bitcoin for your business, tell your boss you want to be paid in bitcoin, and get your family involved in the process.

*The most important thing you can do in 2024 is loop your family in. Give them a one-pager on how to restore the bitcoin if you got hit by a bus tomorrow.

We also talked about the importance of security and making sure that you keep your SATS in a very safe place. I recommend using the COLDCARD to store your bitcoin because of it's focus on security, air gapped technology, and the many unique features it offers.
