Avihai Brodetsky, whose family members are hostages in Gaza, blamed the Israeli army for failing to protect them.He criticised the lack of military presence during the attacks, stating: "No tanks, no helicopters, no soldiers, nothing. If they had been there, this wouldn't have happened. This is on you, not Hamas."
He also remarked that Hamas had "executed a brilliant operation and managed to outsmart Israel."
