The Bible says when the year begins. Collectively, we saw the New Year celebrated as January 1st even though we we have a clue that something is amiss. The prefixes of the months of September (Sept = 7), October (Oct =8), November (Nov = 9), and December (Dec = 10) should matter. Let's look at why it does matter that we know when the year begins biblically. It all points to Jesus.
