The Pink Panther Show is an animated television series that ran from 1969–1978.
The show features the Pink Panther character from the opening credits of the live-action films. The show is about the heroic, moral adventures of the Pink Panther and The Inspector.
The Pink Panther is a cartoon cat with pink fur and the manners of an English aristocrat.

The show was produced by David H. DePatie and Friz Freleng and aired on ABC and NBC. The show has 17 major characters, including the Pink Panther, Sergeant Deux-Deux, and Blue Racer. The first three episodes are "Pink Suds", "Doctor Pink", and "Spark Plug Pink".
The Pink Panther character was first created in 1964. The original film, The Pink Panther (1963), was centered on the Phantom/Sir Charles Lytton, portrayed by David Niven.
