New Year, Same Bowl Assignment As 5 Years Ago

Matt's less than happy about the result of the Liberty Bowl game after the loss to Memphis, which is to be expected. He's also significantly less happy about the way the bowl game was ran, with Iowa State being treated as a true road team as opposed to the neutral site that a bowl game is supposed to be.

Cyclone basketball begins its grueling conference slate, with the men preparing for their first game in Big 12 play and the women off to a 2-0 start with wins against Oklahoma State and Kansas

The NFL is entering week 18. Do or die for some teams, like the Vikings, and a glorified bye for others, like the Chiefs, whose spot in the playoffs is already sealed.

And let's just say our NHL teams have had a rough week.
