Many of you already know that Ginseng is very near to my heart. It is hands down my favourite herb ( root ) alongside herbs such as Cayenne pepper and Schisandra. I have taken Ginseng every day for a very long time, and I would be lying to you if I said that I received anything other than benefit from doing so. There are various forms of Ginseng extract currently on the market, and no two are really the same. Each company tends to do things a bit different than the others, and once you get used to the way ginseng makes you feel, you will be able to discern the differences in quality as you experiment with various forms of ginseng extract. Too much extract can lead to anger, while too little can lead to a lack of energising effects. 1200 mg of extract is my personal sweet spot, and I find that if I go over that amount, I tend to get a bit restless and sometimes angry.

After much experimentation I have found that the " Imperial Elixir Red Chanbai Mountain Panax Ginseng Extractum " to be the absolute best. This is largely due to the amount of extract you get in each vial ( 1200 mg ). Another reason why I favour this brand of Ginseng is because of its minimal alcohol content. Many brands put way too much alcohol in their extracts, rendering the product unsafe for long term daily usage.

The benefits of Ginseng come from long term usage. Because of this, you want to make sure that if you are taking Ginseng extract, that it does not contain much alcohol. The less the better.
