Mark of the Beast

In the book of Revelation, John wrote in contrasting terms about those who received the Mark of the Beast with 'the saints,' defined as 'those who keep the commandments of God and the faith of Jesus.' He also highlights, as the end approaches, that Satan will desire to persecute the church and will make war with, again, 'those who keep the commandments of God and have the testimony of Jesus Christ.' And yet, the debate will continue on whether God's law is relevant for the modern church.
