Ukrainian army shells Makeevka killing one civilian and injuring five - 06.01.2024

On 6 January 2024, as the inhabitants of the DPR prepared to celebrate Orthodox Christmas, the Ukrainian army shelled the residential areas of Makeevka with rockets supplied by Slovakia. The initial toll of four injured was unfortunately revised upwards, and the final toll is one dead and five injured civilians. Several homes were also damaged.
