Seeking the Face of God; Jer. 29:12-13

Delivered during the New Year's Eve Service, 12/31/2023. In this New Year's Eve meditation, we will continue to probe the meaning of Jeremiah's prophetic letter to the exiles in Babylon. This time we will consider the promise that is made to the remnant who will return to Israel after the 70 year exile is over. We will realize the need for true repentance and how dependent our prayers are on our spiritual attitude. And then we will consider what it means to seek the face of God with our whole hearts and exactly how we go about it. Ultimately we will ask ourselves the probing question: "Are we as a church (each and all) truly seeking the face of God?"
