The vet told us

The vet told us Bandy’s arthritis in his hips are the worst he had seen and he suggested a full hip replacement. We decided against this due to his age. He was on meds for pain which helped a little. But not good for his kidneys. He has now been on his own X39 for two months now and is walking so well already. He is not in pain and we know this because he no longer pulls his legs in towards himself and shivers from pain.
He goes for walks now that he feels stronger and free of pain.
