Word on the Street... Everyone is Broke

Hello my misfits, today I would like to inform you of a disastrous trade that I have taken. I have shorted the financials, more specifically the banks, and my trade did not go as I expected. In fact, to be completely honest, I got wiped out. So much so that I am in debt 43K. However, an interesting event happened today. While talking to a loan officer to get a consolidation loan, the officer on the phone told me everyone in America is looking for consolidation loans right now.
