Wink Martindale is expected to resign as the New York Giants

According to an undisclosed source, Wink Martindale is expected to step down from his position as defensive coordinator for the New York Giants. Reports suggest that his strained relationship with coach Brian Daboll was the main factor in his departure. Despite their issues, Daboll initially stated that he expected Martindale and offensive coordinator Mike Kafka to stay, but after some discussions, Martindale tendered his resignation.
