Search and rescue team specialists on a helicopter working

Mi-8PSG of the Russian Aerospace Forces perform combat missions. Specialists of the search and rescue group of the Aerospace Forces perform combat missions in the Krasny Liman direction. Over the past month, they carried out more than 50 combat missions in the special military operation zone.

This unit includes a fire support group as well as a medical worker. The main tasks of the unit are continuous monitoring of the situation, evacuation and rescue of pilots, and their transportation to a military medical facility.
