Towards the end of Chapter 6 of St Mark's Gospel, St Mark mentions how hard the hearts are of the Apostles after Jesus fed the 5,000 men and walked on the water. Why doesn't this Messiah who can do these great miracles conquer the Romans? Jesus saves us from a kingdom far worse than the Roman Empire. Because God's way are higher than our ways and His thoughts are higher than our thoughts.
We were created in the image and likeness of God which means we have soul, mind and body.
