Pepsi is more powerful than you think!

Instead of paying with money, the Soviet Union decided to trade their ships for Pepsi. They gave Pepsi a fleet of submarines and boats. Specifically, they traded 17 submarines, a cruiser, a frigate, and a destroyer.

The value of these ships was about $3 billion in Pepsi products. So, for a little while, because of this deal, Pepsi had a massive military power, but it was very different from a regular military force. It was all because they traded their famous drink for ships!
