Tankers from Buryatia are on duty on the line of combat contact around the clock, taking turns replacing each other. Combat missions to destroy newly identified targets occur up to four to five times a day. Tank crews target concentrations of manpower, armored vehicles of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, and destroy long-term firing points equipped at enemy positions.

Reconnaissance of targets and adjustment of tank fire is carried out in real time using the capabilities of unmanned aerial vehicles. In winter conditions, equipment works to the limit and requires careful maintenance. But for tankers from Buryatia, this weather is ideal - the autumn thaw is a thing of the past, and the ground is icy, so the equipment does not get stuck and moves much faster.

Many tanks in this battalion repeatedly came under enemy fire. When major repairs are required, the equipment is evacuated to the nearest repair and restoration battalion; if the damage is minor, then they are repaired right on the spot. The tankers independently installed additional protection on their combat vehicle - on the sides of the hull against cumulative shells, and on top they welded anti-drone nets. There are always many kamikaze drones of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the sky, which purposefully hunt Russian armored vehicles.
