Marvel is on an ABSOLUTE TEAR right now, dropping bomb after bomb as the MCU slides even further into obscurity in the pop culture zeitgeist so it's only up from here for Echo, right? RIGHT?!? Well, apparently not. While Echo isn't particularly offensive to people with good tastes, it certainly took the WHO CARES?!? idea from Secret Invasion and dialed it up to 11. Echo is a spin-off of a spin-off that in NO WAY ties back into the MCU Phase 5 storyline. It really makes you wonder what exactly about this hero was so important that we just NEEDED a show about them...Hmmmm......
