Israel’s King’s were largely evil

“It is an abomination to kings to commit wickedness: for the throne is established by righteousness.” - Proverbs 16:12

After King Solomon’s reign, Israel’s united monarchy separated into Israel & Judah.
A total of 39 kings ruled overall, of which there were only 8 good kings.

From that point every good King came out of Judah . Unfortunately every King in Israel was evil.
Jehu could be regarded as the only exception as he began noble and was used by God, though he turned to idolatry and ended corrupt.

This video provides a brief overview of Israel’s leadership from the past until the modern day.

It is crucial to discern leadership as biblically those who support evil Kings were in danger of being cursed as we see in 2 Kings 10:11.

“So Jehu slew all that remained of the house of Ahab in Jezreel, and all his great men, and his kinsfolks, and his priests, until he left him none remaining.”
