Reading the Bible in 1 Year - Numbers Chapter 2

Numbers Chapter 2 is all about the Children of Israel setting up tribal camps in preparation for war. This chapter talks about the Twelve Tribes of Israel and how they are assigned to specific camps and the advancement orders for war. Every tribe is to be prepared in separate camps, except the Levites. All the men twenty years old or older who were able to serve in the army were included except the Levites who were excluded as they were to be left behind to serve the Tabernacle.
