Based on a True Story

Dr. Sleep revolves around a band of misfits that travel across the country looking for children " that shine", abduct them, torture, and murder them.
They do this to extract something they call " steam" which is the life force of the victims.

This movie is the sequel to "The Shining" and what makes it highly disturbing is that it isn't entirely fiction; it's loosely based on historic events.
